Laughter is also on the agenda for Horndean Amateur Theatrical Society this coming week.
Ray Cooney's farce Out of Order is being performed at the Merchistoun Hall in Horndean.
Directed by Frank Whitcombe, the play tells of underhand goings-on in government. Junior minister Richard Willey plans to spend the evening with one of the opposition's typists, Jane. Things go disastrously wrong with the discovery of a body trapped in the hotel's sash window. Willey calls on his personal and private secretary George for help but things go from bad to worse.
Add an unscrupulous waiter and an interfering hotel manager and even Alastair Campbell would have trouble putting a positive spin on this catastrophe!
Merchistoun Hall, Portsmouth Road, Horndean from Thursday, April 7 to Saturday, April 9 at 7.30pm. Tickets: £5
