YOUNGSTERS have masked their school holiday boredom with a series of art workshops.
The theatre Royal in Winchester has been offering fun-filled activities for children over the Easter holidays, from street and contemporary dancing to script-writing and mask-making.
All the workshops were led by professional artists and designed to give children an insight into aspects of theatre and the arts.
Nicola Peacock, education manager at the Jewry Street theatre, said: "This is a great introduction for children to a number of arts activities.
"We also run classes for some of the activities, such as street dance, throughout the year for anyone who wants to get involved on a more regular basis.".
