DETECTIVES have named the 45-year-old Chandler's Ford man who was found dead after collapsing at his home in Falkland Court at the weekend.
He was Paul Raymond Howlett who lived alone. A post-mortem revealed he had died of a massive heart attack.
A major police operation swung into action at the weekend after Mr Howlett's body was found inside the block of flats.
Officers initially launched a suspicious death inquiry because the doorway of the property, above a row of shops off Falkland Road, was found wide open.
A neighbour discovered Mr Howlett and a team of detectives carried out door-to-door inquiries and collected statements from local residents in a bid to build up a picture of his last movements.
A funeral service for Mr Howlett will be held at Southampton Crematorium on Monday.
