On a night which honoured Poole Pirates' 2004 double winning skipper Magnus Zetterstrom, it was the current club captain that hit the headlines at Wimborne Road last night.
Ryan Sullivan bounced back to the form that had previously eluded him so far this season.
Sullivan, on new engines for the evening, stormed to four impressive race wins in the team event, one of two Australians who went through the card unbeaten - Leigh Adams being the other - as the 'Roos' won the four-team tournament with 40 points.
That was five more than the 'Euros' which featured Poole asset Piotr Protasiewicz looking more than comfortable on the Poole circuit.
In third place was Zetterstrom's Vikings team with 32 points whilst the Bulldogs, representing the home nation, scored just 18.
The meeting climaxed with an additional individual event, which featured the top two scorers from each side competing over two semi finals with the best four going into the Grand Final.
Sullivan continued his winning ways with an easy semi-final victory then emphatically saw off the challenges of both Bjarne Pedersen (second) and Leigh Adams (third) with Antonio Lindback running fourth.
