PAMBER Heath Gardening Club: Unfortunately, the spring show that was to take place on March 15 had to be postponed as there were not enough flowers out in the gardens.
Instead, the committee brought forward the quiz evening and members enjoyed testing their knowledge.
Many thanks to Jane and Sue for organising it at short notice.
It is hoped that the show will take place next month, on April 19.
MORTIMER West End cricket Club: The club will be holding an open day for budding cricketers on May 2, from 1pm to 4pm.
The coaching sessions are open for youngsters from 11 to 17 years old.
This club is thriving and now boasts three fully-qualified England Cricket Board coaches, and the playing facilities are excellent.
If you are interested, contact Gary Belcher, senior coach, on 0118 9813576, or log on to the club's website at www.mwecc.co.uk
BALLROOM and Latin American dancing: The next set of five lessons start on Wednesday, April 6, at Pamber Heath Memorial Hall.
They start at 7.15pm for beginners, followed at 8.15pm with the improvers' class.
The cost for either session is £20 or £25 for both.
Contact either Joe Harmon on 01256 357042, or myself, on the above number, for details.
