RIDING for the Disabled: The Dummer branch of Riding for the Disabled was very pleased to receive a donation of £465 from customers of ASDA at Brighton Hill.
This splendid sum will help towards the purchase of another horse for the children.
This will enable the team to continue with all their good work for disabled youngsters.
Everyone involved would like to say a huge thank you to ASDA and its customers.
DUMMER Village Hall: B&Q has given a grant to Dummer Village Hall and the committee has purchased handrails, which are necessary for the hall to conform to the new Disability Act.
Work is slowly progressing on the new toilet and ramp and, as soon as the major work has been completed, a "spring clean" will be done throughout the hall.
Thanks to Dulux this will not be as expensive as previously thought.
TICKETS: For the "Spring Clean for Health" in the hall on Monday, April 4, are available from Dummer Village Store and the Spar store, in North Waltham.
Pre-buying tickets will enable you to be entered for the complete make-over.
Tickets are £5 per person, or £8 for a couple, so, ladies, bring along your man.
