The sale raised £250 for the community association.

Part of these proceeds will go towards buying a second-hand photocopier as the existing one has finally broken.

The remainder of the money will assist in the cost of future events.

UNDERPASS murals: The underpasses at Victory Roundabout are to receive a facelift.

The borough council is seeking public opinion on the proposed artistic work to be carried out.

Anyone with an interest in the appearance and upkeep of the underpasses is invited to review some of the artist's previous work and comment on whether it is liked and wanted.

This will be on display at the village hall on Saturday, April 2, to coincide with the monthly 3Cs morning, between 10am and noon.

VILLAGE hall dates for April: Ladies' Night on Tuesday, April 12, at 8pm. The theme is, as yet, unknown.
