BRIGHT Start Pre-school: Children were creating pictures on March 16 by fastening "wheels on the bus".
They worked at tables in their room at Brighton Hill Community Association, Gershwin Court, and glued on faces to look out of bus windows.
Later in the afternoon, they gathered together to sing The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round.
The group leader, Sue Vickery, told me about the forthcoming Easter egg hunt that should have happened yesterday.
During the build-up to Easter, the children will make Easter cards and rabbit masks.
A raffle has been held to raise funds for presents of soft toys and Easter eggs.
Donations have been received from ASDA, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Tesco.
Sue Vickery mentioned that in September there will be vacancies in the afternoons.

Before going home, the children listened to a story about an airport. They learned who works at an airport, from the manager and the captain to baggage handlers.
QUIZ night: At Viables Craft Centre last Friday was successful.
The chairman, James Salter, welcomed everyone and mentioned that, in April, the Viables Community Association is to be launched.
The quiz comprised 10 rounds of questions, beginning with Disney characters shown in a set of pictures.
After this came food and drink and finally music.
First prize was a bottle of whisky, won by the team "Asylum", which scored 95 points.
COLLECTION: The collection at the church for the Women's World Day of Prayer Fund, on March 4, raised £122.68.
