SAINTS legend Lawrie McMenemy helped Southampton Airport's largest carrier, Flybe, launch two new French routes.
The company is now operating five flights a week from Southampton to Brest on the north-western coast of Brittany, and four flights a week to Limoges in the heart of France.
From May Rennes and Bordeaux will also be added to the list of Southampton departures.
Ex-Southampton manager Lawrie is shown presenting Nick Jackson, 13, with two return tickets to any Flybe destination in a competition held at the city's Mall Marlands centre to mark the new routes.
