Easter Saturday saw the Transplus Andover Darts Classic established as a top regional competition when a classy field including ten of the world's best players endorsed Andover's top darting venue.
Following nine gruelling hours of inspiration and perspiration Mark Walsh was crowned champion after a truly professional performance.
Walsh took the title and the winner's cheque for £600 after nailing the last leg of the last set to beat form and crowd favourite Ronnie Baxter. Baxter picked up £300 for the getting to the final plus £100 for the highest check out of the day-a superb 160.
