Amazingly, the bottom three clubs - Downton, Hamble ASSC and Portland United, who have leaked over 300 league goals between this season - all kept clean sheets!
Downton put the pressure on the other two strugglers with their 2-0 midday home victory over Christchurch at Wick Lane.
"We really played well and if we can continue like this then we should be OK," smiled Downton manager Jeff Softley. "We were back to how we were against Winchester City and the players' attitude was very good."
Kev Thick headed in a Paul Gulliver corner to put the Robins ahead after 55 minutes and, ten minutes later, Mark Daubney picked out Matt Guy who made no mistake with a clinical finish.
