CANTABILE, a vocal ensemble with an unrivalled reputation throughout Europe for their breathtaking harmonies, make a welcome return to The
Theatre Royal, Winchester, on April 6.
With their rich, vibrant sounds, they take their audience on a musical journey through Bach and Rossini, folksong and classical parody to The Beatles and into the 21st century with Richard Rodney Bennett's A Good Night, commissioned by Paul McCartney.
The four members of Cantabile produce not only wonderful harmonies, but all the sounds of the instruments, using only their superb voices, cupped hands and their own bodies. Their great sound and sheer joie de vivre make this an evening of sparkling, infectious entertainment.
As heard regularly on BBC Radio 4's Loose Ends with Ned Sherrin, Cantabile combine their fine singing with a very British humour, which they bring to all their programmes.
