BUNNIES and bonnets were on display in Ringwood on Saturday as record numbers of youngsters took part in the town's annual Easter parade.
Dozens of contestants from tots to teenagers thronged the Furlong Centre to show off their homemade headgear before a panel of judges headed by Mayor of Ringwood Councillor Michael Thierry.
Winners of the respective under-14, under-nine and under-six age groups were ten-year-old Tabitha Hopkins, Suzanne Cox, 8, and Destiny Billings, 3.
Competition sponsor and judge Giles Talbot, from the Liberty Raptor and Reptile Centre, brought along some giant rabbits from his Crow Lane menagerie, but even bigger bunnies were twitching their whiskers in the Easter bunny competition, won by Neve Hawkins, 3, with her twin sisters Bethany and Abigail, 4, sharing second prize.
