A CAMPAIGN to get more Hampshire householders to recycle everyday items was launched in Winchester.
Former Olympic athlete Roger Black was at the launch.
Recycle for Hampshire is the brainchild of the Integra partnership, which represents the 11 district councils. The councils of Hampshire have been awarded £5m from the government to improve their recycling facilities.
Roger said: "People who already recycle will be encouraged and reassured that their efforts are worthwhile, and those who don't will be able to see it as easy and not just something that other people do."
Roland Dibbs, chairman of the Project Integra management board, said: "We need to convince more people to make recycling part of their everyday lives."
