A6 is the best

The awards reveal the best cars, vans, service companies and fleet managers in the £40 billion fleet industry, which accounts for more than half of the new cars sold each year.

Headline awards winners included Audi, which was also named Manufacturer of the Year, another award voted for by readers, and took the prize for Best Premium Lower Medium Car for the Audi A3/A3 Sportback, with the A8 named Best Luxury Car.

Hosted by newscaster Huw Edwards, the event was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel and was attended by more than 1,300 people.

The Fleet News Awards aim to recognise the very best cars, vans, manufacturer fleet departments and supply companies serving Britain's fleet industry.

A total of 32 awards were handed out on the night, covering fleet managers, manufacturers, service companies and headline awards.

John Maslen, editor of Fleet News, said: "The annual Fleet News Awards are the culmination of more than six months' work by a team of more than 20 staff.

"Winning an award, especially one voted for by readers, indicates a company at the top of its game which is putting the needs of company car users and fleet managers at the heart of its service."
