SURVIVAL expert Ray Mears will be handing out top tips on wilderness living when he drops into Southampton's Waterstone's bookshop.
The bushcraft and survival instructor will be signing copies of his new book at the WestQuay bookshop, on April 19. Ray developed his unique skill while growing up in southern England, tracking foxes and camping outdoors - never realising that it would become his life.
In 1983 he founded Woodlore School of Wilderness Bushcraft, in East Sussex, and has been teaching there for more than two decades.
He became a household name through TV series including Tracks, and his latest book ties in with the current BBC series.
