RORY LORD has smashed the Southampton Social Clubs' long-standing snooker break record.
The Eastleigh Railway Institute player smashed Bob Cooper's five-year record of 110 with a stunning 128.
It could have been even higher if it were not for a fine cut back on the black that bounced off the jaws of the pocket.
"That was the only mistake I made," said Rory, pictured. "I am very disappointed that I didn't get the last black as it was very do-able."
Rory beat Mark McLean of Churchills 2-0 to help his side win 6-4 in the Premier.
