HAVANT Hawks were unable to stop Fleming Park's winning run in the Under-16 section of the Southampton League.

The newcomers boast a great asset to their squad in Lauren MacLean, who is extremely tall with a lovely long stretch when defending.

As a result, Fleming had to change their gameplan but took the first quarter 13-4 due to Havant only fielding six players through sickness.

Fleming's Kerry Jones (centre) and Becky Gover were impressive in the first half.

Havant moved MacLean into the shooting circle after the interval, and that made a difference. But Fleming's Georgina Barton was imperious in defence and her side ran out convincing 48-20 winners.
