CHRIS Baird will take centre-stage when he faces England tomorrow.

But plenty of other Saints will be on international duty.

Anders Svensson and Mikael Nilsson are both in the Sweden squad to face Bulgaria in Sofia tomorrow while Antti Niemi's Finland take on the Czech Republic in Teplice.

Henri Camara is with Senegal who face Liberia in Dakar.

Senegal, the shock side of the last World Cup, are currently joint-top of their qualifying group with 10 points from five games along with Togo and Zambia.

Scots Neil McCann and Nigel Quashie could both be in action against Italy in Milan, aiming to help Walter Smith win his first game in charge.

Kenwyne Jones, currently on loan at Stoke, is in the Trinidad and Tobago squad to face Guatemala and Costa Rica.

Claus Lundekvam's Norway, meanwhile, play Moldova.

Several Saints youngsters are also in action.

Yoann Folly, on loan at Preston North End, is in the French under-21 squad to face Switzerland in Troyes today and Israel in Herzelya next week.

Martin Cranie, Matthew Mills and Dexter Blackstock are in the England under-19 squad.

They play European Championship qualifiers against Denmark in Crewe tomorrow, Sweden in Bury on March 28 and then Moldova in Blackpool on March 30.

All three have recent first team experience.

Cranie played against Manchester United in Saints' FA Cup exit while Blackstock and Mills have been on loan to Plymouth and Bournemouth respectively.

Blackstock, who sprung to prominence with a hat-trick as a sub for Saints in the Carling Cup against Colchester in October, has scored twice in six Championship starts plus three as a sub.

Defender Mills, meanwhile, has scored twice in six League One games for play-off chasing Cherries.

Saints starlet Theo Walcott, who turned 16 earlier this month, is in line to face Serbia and Montenegro in Stoke tomorrow for the England under-17s.

They also play Northern Ireland at Wolverhampton on March 28 and then Republic of Ireland in Walsall on March 30.
