CHILDREN at Harefield Infant School had a fun end to term when they dressed as their favourite nursery rhyme characters - and had a peek inside the world of a firefighter.
Nearly 50 four- and five-year-olds, the youngest in the school, turned up this week at the Yeovil Chase, Southampton school dressed as Humpty Dumpty, Wee Willie Winkie, Incy Wincy Spider and Little Bo Peep.
Pupils also acted out parts of nursery rhymes and recited all the new poems they had learned.
Meanwhile, 38 Year 2 children got to grips with fighting fires and protecting their homes, when Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service's educational team dropped it.
