AFTER a £100,000 facelift Collingbourne Ducis village hall was officially reopened with celebrations and the unveiling of a plaque.
The hall had been closed for over a year while major refurbishment took place including the roof being rebuilt.
"Everyone is ecstatic because it's much better than it was. ""It had been built 20 years ago on a budget," said John Dowsett the hall's treasurer.
It was all thanks to the fundraisers, grant givers and the generosity of many organisations and local people, he said. Improvements include double glazed windows and doors, improved lighting, a modern central heating system and a tarmac car park. For the full story see friday's Andover Advertiser..
