Clinical finishing coupled with sound defending allowed Citymain Insurance-sponsored Barton Stacey to overcome a much improved Upper Clatford team.
In a closely-contested first half, Michael Taplin opened the scoring after 13 minutes. An injury-time Will de Cani goal put Barton Stacey two in front at the interval.
In the second half, Alex Coetzee won header after header, setting up Taplin and de Cani to score two more each. A late assault on the Barton goal produced a couple of outstanding saves from Nick Bearpark, who kept his eleventh clean sheet of the season.
