POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash on the A303 near the Micheldever slip road on Saturday evening.
Shortly after 8.35pm a Seat Altea was involved in a collision with a Rover 214 on the eastbound carriageway of the A303. It's believed the Seat was travelling the wrong way down the carriageway.
The driver of the Rover, a 22-year-old man from Somerset, received serious head and chest injuries and was taken to the North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke.
The driver of the Seat, a 38-year-old man from Winchester, received chest injuries and was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
