ANDOVER Tourist Information centre will not have to pay any rent when it relocates to And-over Museum next month.
A lease has been drawn up as part an agreement between Test Valley Borough Council and Hampshire County Council enabling the facility to move from the Town Mills at minimum cost.
The borough will pay the county a 'peppercorn' amount as part of the agreement which will initially last for three years but can be broken at three months' notice.
The reason for the move is to save the borough council money. It will now be able to let the space at the Town Mills on commercial terms.
