ARCTIC instructor Stuart Nanson will soon be setting off on a gruelling race to the north magnetic Pole to help raise awareness of climate change.
Stuart, aged 38, who lives at Penton Corner and is a Staff Sgt with REME at Middle Wallop, is due to leave England on 12 April as part of a three-strong team.
They will be competing against 14 other teams, on skis and dragging sledges weighing up to 150lbs, 320 nautical miles from Polaris in Canada to Issachen Mine.
