STAFF at Andover War Memorial Hospital are steeling themselves for cuts that could result in the loss of 150 full time equivalent jobs across two trusts.
The news was broken at a series of meetings last week when staff were also told that 75 beds will be axed between Andover and Winchester hospitals.
The 150 full-time equivalent jobs will come from Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare Trust and the Mid Hampshire Primary Care Trust.
With an average full cost per job of £30,000, that would lead to a full year saving of £4.5 million.
