THE Levellers play the City Hall on April 10 as part of a 13-date UK tour, while Tony Christie - currently at number one in the single charts with Is This The Way to Amarillo, his 1970s hit which has been re-released as a charity single for Comic Relief - will be entertaining on April 8.
Led by the colourful Mark Chadwick, folk-rockers The Levellers enjoyed their first hit way back in 1988.
Seventeen years on, The Levellers remain one of the most productive and imaginative bands around.
Their tour is in support of their eagerly anticipated new album Truth & Lies, which is out in May.
The Levellers have always been a voracious touring band, frequently notching up more than 200 gigs a year worldwide.
Live highlights have included their headline appearances at the Glastonbury Festival in 1992 and 1994 and a sell-out performance at Buxton Opera House in 2004, which led to an acoustic tour of theatres in the UK later that year.
The band won't have far to come when they arrive in Salisbury next month. They have their own recording studio in Brighton where they have recorded most of their recent work.
Tony Christie, meanwhile, has become something of a cult star thanks to comic Peter Kay, who used Amarillo in his stand-up set.
Tickets for both shows start from £16. Box office: 01722 434434.
