Andover New Street 2 Brading Town 2 CARMEL Construction sponsored New Street gained a precious point in their fight for Division Two survival on Saturday with a 2-2 draw with islanders Brading.
After dominating previous matches against higher clubs and ending with nothing, ironically this was one of the less impressive showings of recent times although the point was well received. It all looked good from the start as New Street took a seventh minute lead through Adam McArthur, who scored after Chris Knight had charged down a clearance and laid the ball on a plate.
