The season's first meeting at the Isle of Wight Islanders last night, a pairs event, produced some excellent racing.
The host club's Danish duo of Ulrich Ostergaard and Steen Jensen won after a run-off from French brothers Sebastien and Mathieu Tresarrieu, who are Wight riders on loan to Swindon and Reading respectively.
Aussie pair Craig Boyce and Jason Doyle were third.
