A GROUP of students from Las Vegas are enjoying an exchange visit with Bitterne Park School.
Twenty-three students from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts are visiting Southampton for nine days, and each is staying with the family of a pupil. The jazz bands from both schools will be teaming up for a number of performances.
Next month 23 pupils from Bitterne Park School will make a return visit to Las Vegas for two weeks.
The exchange was the idea of Stephen Clark, principal of the Las Vegas school, who was born in Southampton.
Tomorrow the students will be joined by the City Youth Brass Band for the main celebration of the visit - an evening of music at the Central Hall in Southampton.
