SOUTHAMPTON'S premier theatre The Mayflower has announced two exciting new shows that will be appearing there this year.
Between June 21 and 25, brand new musical Dancing in the Streets makes its debut with the best soul and funky Motown music in town.
Dancing in the Streets is a
spectacular celebration of chart-busting hits originally made famous by Diana Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas and The Temptations.
Following its sell-out success at The Mayflower last week, English National Ballet will be back at the theatre in October with The Sleeping Beauty.
The company will perform this dazzling fairytale between October 20 to 29.
Tickets are also selling well for the Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical Starlight Express, which rolls into the theatre on May 11.
Tickets for Dancing in the Streets start from £14.50, Sleeping Beauty from £10 and Starlight Express £14.50. Box office: 023 8071 1811.
