BRITAIN'S hottest new comedian Jimmy Carr brings his dry, candid humour to The Anvil in Basingstoke as part of his latest UK tour on June 10.

Since leaving work as a psychotherapist and becoming a stand-up comedian in 1998, Jimmy Carr, pictured, has won over audiences in all the top comedy clubs.

At the 2003 Edinburgh Festival, he sold out an entire month's performances of his show Charm Offensive by the second day of the festival and received glittering reviews from critics.

Since then, Jimmy has become a regular fixture as the comedy face of Channel 4, presenting the gameshows Your Face Or Mine and Distraction, not to mention every 100 best... and worst... show over Christmas!
