EGGSTRAVAGANZA: The parent and toddler group will be holding this event in aid of Comic Relief on Wednesday, starting at 1.15pm, and finishing at 2.45pm.

Come ready for an egg hunt, fancy dress and bonnet parade and an egg raffle.

NEW shutters: The village hall has undergone a facelift during the past month.

The windows and door now boast white, metal roller shutters.

These are much easier to operate and are smartly hidden when open.

The toilets are also undergoing refurbishment with new flooring, baby changing facilities and improved cubicle layout.

All these works are, in great part, due to a grant from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.

The remainder has been contributed by Brookvale Community Association with funds gained from such activities as the jumble sale, which took place last Sunday.

DIARY dates for the village hall: 3Cs' next morning will be held on Saturday, April 2, from 10am.

A skittles evening has been booked for Friday, April 15. Play will be in teams of six.
