Winchester'S theatre Royal has announced an exciting blend of West End drama, classic theatre, some well-loved music and comedy, plus Mo Mowlam from the world of politics, for its summer season, which begins in April.
The hit Broadway and West End show Art (May 3 - June 4) is one of the highlights.
The comedy masterpiece took London by storm when it first opened and has gone on to become one of the most successful plays in Broadway history, breaking box office records across Britain and America.
An all-star cast, headed by Simon Shepherd of Peak Practice fame, makes this a must-see for the summer.
There is a rich and varied programme of events for music lovers, from legends of the jazz world, Cleo Laine and partner John Dankworth, to the beguiling Celloman with their blend of classical music, funky rhythms and world music. Stacey Kent celebrates the release of her sixth album with a welcome return to Winchester.
Not to be forgotten are multi-platinum-selling guitar genius Tommy Emmanuel, Juan Mart-in's modern flamenco, The Spe-cial Magic of Louis Armstrong and Temperance Seven.

Alan Ayckbourn's A Garden Fete strikes a lighter note with classic comic disaster.
