THIS is another local history gem from director/writer Matt Fletcher with a youth group that performs these so well.
Solent Sky, the former Hall of Aviation, is the ideal setting for the presentation of anecdotes from the early days of flying, and aviators recount tales of daring-do alongside the more measured contribution of Southampton Spitfire legend, R. J. Mitchell.
The excellent acoustics of the museum mean that every word is clearly heard. The players exude confidence.
Seventy-eight rpm recordings, archive images, and the exhibits themselves are used to add atmospheric interest.
Both the enthusiast, and anyone with a general interest will be warmly entertained.
Runs until Sunday.
