AN impressive treble from Jake Wilson steered Nursling through to the League Cup final as the favourites defeated Senior 2 high-flyers Malvern 3-0.

But for some fine keeping from Jason Parker in the Malvern goal it could have been twice the score as he repeatedly denied Lee Brown and Wilson.

He had no chance with Wilson's opener as the forward weaved his way through to the by-line before firing in from a narrow angle.

The third was equally impressive as he rose to head just under the crossbar.

Nursling will find out next weekend who their opposition will be when AFC Bassett clash with last season's semi-finalists Ordnance Survey Res.

Robbie Burch hit all five goals as Premier leaders, Classic Comrades recovered from last weekend's defeat by Botley to crush Otterbourne Res 5-0.

Botley Village inflicted a 6-1 defeat on relegation-haunted Hythe Aztecs with two each from Geoff Wright and Craig Wilson (one a penalty) with Martin Roberts and sub James Dixey completing the tally.

Wellow thrashed AFC Target 7-1 with braces from Paul Traies, Sam Bennett and Ryan Fee. Adam Palmer was their other marksman.

Brendon defeated Cadnam 3-1 with Liam Keites, Gary Crab and Luke Kelsey.

A late Justin Chapman strike equalised for AFC Arrow after Ricky Butler had put SFA Cup finalists Locksley ahead.
