STUDENTS in Southampton were given a taste of Broadway when one of the US's most highly acclaimed dance companies visited the city.
Twenty-five performers from the University of Southampton perfected some fancy footwork under the guidance of the Penn State Musical theatre - the touring company of Pennsylvania State University.
Students from the theatre often go on to perform in national and international tours of hit Broadway plays.
PenState head of dance Professor Spence Ford instructed the students in choreography from shows including West Side Story, A Chorus Line and Chicago before his own students performed in front of a capacity audience at the Turner Sims Concert Hall.
