CALLING all lads, dads and granddads - the time has come to pull on your running shoes and raise vital funds for cancer research.
The Alberto Culver Run4Fun takes place at Down Grange, Basingstoke, on Wednesday, May 4.
It starts at 7.30pm and men of all ages are welcome to enter the race, which aims to promote awareness of cancer in men.
Gazette Newspapers is proud to once again be the official newspaper sponsor of the race and will be fielding a team of runners at the event.
Heading into its fourth year, the run is going from strength to strength - growing into one of Cancer Research UK's biggest fundraisers in Hampshire.
This year, organisers hope to smash fundraising and participation records. However, this will only be possible with your help.
Kate MacDougall, event fundraiser for the charity, said: "Last year we had 938 runners and we raised more than £42,000. This year we want 1,500 men running and we're aiming to raise £50,000."
You can tackle the five-kilometre course at your own pace - whether it's a gentle jog, brisk walk or all-out run. The important thing is that as many men as possible take part.
If you register in advance, the entry fee is £7.50 for adults and £4.50 for under-18s. Registering on the day costs £10 for adults and £5 for children.
To register for the run, simply fill out the form, which can be downloaded from here, and send it back to Cancer Research via the fax number or address.
