YOUNGSTERS were in good voice at a Swan-more nursery as they staged a sponsored singing event to raise money for charity.
A week-long programme of fundraising antics has been staged at the Greenery Nursery School to mark
the 12th anniversary of the group.
Activities included a continuous ten-minute sponsored sing, and the little ones donned carefully made Easter bonnets for a colourful parade while proud parents watched from the sidelines.
The head teacher at the school in Church Road, Pauline Didymus, said: "It's been a fun week. Half the money will go to charities for children and we also want a wooden bookcase on wheels that folds out so that it will provide more of a book corner for the children."
