TABLE-TOPPING Southampton Trailblazers' hot form continued with a comfortable 98-60 victory over Hythe Bucks in the Solent Area Men's Basketball League.
The two teams are at opposite ends of Division 3 and, although visiting coach Wayne Owen's young squad have improved during the season, Hythe had no answer to the free-scoring Blazers.
Gary Beale top-scored with 36 points, including six three-pointers.

Southampton Trail-blazers under-15s' play-off prospects took a knock in a 76-52 defeat by Brighton Bears.
They won a blistering opening quarter 21-14, but defensive fouls and resulting free throws allowed Bears to close the gap, 30-30, by half-time.
The Brighton pressure continued as they outscored Blazers 26-8 in the third quarter and, although the Southampton lads finished in determined style, there was no way back.

Jeannie Asher's Southampton Trailblazers' under-13 side wrapped up the National Basketball League South Division title with two more excellent wins at Romsey School.
With David Gardener and James Blandford combining well to score 20 of Blazers' 24 first-quarter points, they always had the edge over Brighton Bears in a 48-42 success.
With that fine victory under their belts, they finished the regular league season in style with a 79-25 blitz of Reading Rockets.
This Sunday attention turns to the end-of-season play-offs when the Blazers' young guns take on Brentford Fire for a place in the national quarter-finals. Tip-off is at 12 noon at Romsey's Mountbatten School. Spectators are welcome.
