EX-SAINTS Steve Baker and Dave Puckett will be on opposing sides when Netley face Hamble Club in the semi-final of the veterans' Challenger League Cup on Saturday.
There will be plenty at stake as Baker's Netley team and Puckett's Hamble outfit will be keen to keep their double dreams alive, both being odds-on to win their respective league divisions.
In the other semi, Botley Village face Hythe Aztecs. Both matches take place at Shepherds Lane, home of Compton FC (2.30pm ko).
AFC Bassett made it through to the semi-final of the Trophyman Senior League Cup with a 4-1 win against Senior 1 title rivals Hamble Harriers with goals from Luke Pothecary 2, Jez French and Vinnie Fyfield. Grant Patterson hit Harriers' consolation. Their reward is a showdown with Ordnance Survey Reserves at Fryern Rec on Saturday week.
Bush Hill were finally beaten, going down 2-1 to R&B Sports of Basingstoke in the Hants A Cup semi-final. Alan Skilton netted for Hill.
Ordnance Survey A made it through to a Junior League Cup semi-final with a 3-1 win at Inter Northam, Dan Rice, Lee White and Stuart Penman scoring. They will find out who their opposition are after this weekend's match between WEB FC and Bush Hill.
