HOORAY for Hattie: Hatch Warren WI's mascot, Hattie the rabbit became a TV star along with president Sandra Christie. They both appeared live on the BBC's Test the Nationon Saturday as part of a national WI team, which also included the Calendar Girls and national WI chairman Barbara Gill.
You can also have the chance to look out for Hattie at the WI's cake stall at the Hatch Warren Craft Fair on Saturday, March 19.
EASTER services at Immanuel with St Mark: On Maundy Thursday, there will be a quiet and reflective Holy Communion service at 8pm.
On Good Friday, the service will start at 6.30pm and, on Easter Sunday, there will be a joyful Communion service from 10am.
All services take place at the church centre in St Mark's School, Danebury Road.

PHONE mast news: Local campaigner Simon Preedy reports that the applications for a 2G mast for Orange on the community centre fields adjacent to Woodbury Road, and a 3G mast for Vodafone close to the Sainsbury's roundabout, have been recommended for acceptance by the council's development control committee on March 9.
An application by Orange for a 3G mast at the Brighton Hill playing fields, adjacent to Cliddesden Lane, will be considered on April 6.
