MOTHERING Sunday: All Saints' Church was packed for Family Worship.
We were treated to a short playlet about three little owls that wanted their mummy.
Father Clive gave a marvellous address and mothers of all ages received a posy of spring flowers.
Our family service takes place on the first Sunday of every month, starting at 11.15am.
MORE exciting events: Following the successful and highly entertaining speed dating, the next event held in Dummer Village Hall was a talk, on Wednesday, by Major Mark Ewing, on the work of the Black Watch in Iraq.
Major Ewing was second in command, and the talk, illustrated with slides, was entitled "Operation Bracken".
This was a huge success, and tickets almost reached black market status!
It was a fascinating evening for all those who managed to get a ticket.
SPRING Clean for Health: Watch out for more news on a "Spring Clean for Health" in the hall on Monday, April 4, and be rejuvenated from top to toe.
Hairstylists, manicurists, expert consultants in reiki, the power of crystals, pilates, kinesiology and much more will be on hand to pass on their knowledge.
Doors open at 7.30pm, and there is a chance to win a brand-new look for '05.
