WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer: This was lovely and uplifting.
In the address we thought about the contrasting themes of light and darkness.
MOTHERING Sunday: Was a time to say "thank you" for the flowers at Christ the King Church.
It was a pleasure to see the young people, but don't forget grandmothers.
STAGE School: When I called to see how things were progressing, young people were working on ideas for the review on March 19.
The theme of the review is Disney.
I like the relaxed atmosphere, which is a change from how I remember school!
It is important for children to feel valued, to enable them to develop their aptitudes.
Thinking of the review, students can choose what they wish to practise.
The plan is to have attractive caf-style tables, where customers can enjoy food and drink.
Ideas being worked on for the review are reminiscent of Lion King, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Included in the review, beginning at 7pm in the theatre at Brighton Hill Community College, will be dancing, singing and dramatic sketches.
The ages of the young people joining Stage School are from four to 16 years old.
Stage School can be seen in action on Saturday mornings in term time, in the theatre at the college.

There are opportunities for newcomers to take part in future productions.
In the summer, a production of Oliver will be presented on July 16.
Furthermore, auditions for the Christmas production of The Wizard of Oz will take place on May 7.
