A GROUP of students from Winchester's University College are hoping to fill the streets with music as part of a day-long event aimed at recognising the city's rich busking heritage.
The city's annual Hat Fair is already the biggest free street performance festival in the country, but now those behind the event want to recognise the musicians who play in Winchester everyday.
The busker day will take place on Saturday March 19 between 1pm and 3pm, with the film being shown in The Carphone Warehouse, The Royal Oak pub, MVC, WHSmith and Dominoes.
