PUPILS from a Hampshire school have rolled up their sleeves and started work on creating a new garden for their local church.
Students from Brookfield Community School were invited to redesign the garden on the north side of St John's Church before carrying out the work with some professional help.
The brief they had was to design a garden which was safe, simple, easy to maintain and with a clear view of the church.
The planning is now complete and this week nine students began clearing the grounds ready to turn their design into reality.
