IT'S not the most likely place to find a well known celebrity.
However on Saturday lunchtime outside a new home entertainment shop in a Hampshire town a rather large crowd was gathering.
As shoppers quickly found out - it was the place to be to catch a rare glimpse of a Page 3 pin up, party animal and glamour model on their doorsteps.
Buxom blonde Jodie Marsh graced the streets of Eastleigh at the weekend and was greeted by crowds only usually seen once a year for the Christmas lights switch on.
The High Street became a frenzy of activity as scores of people gathered outside the Select Sound and Vision to meet and greet the 26-year-old Essex girl.
No stranger to publicity, the model from Brentwood has made tabloid headlines with her revealing party wear and social exploits.
She is often seen as the arch-rival to well-known celebrity pin up Jordan, and has appeared on television in documentary Essex Wives and reality show The Games.
She arrived in the town having recently finished taking part in a special version of the E4 reality game show Fool Around...Jodie Marsh.
During the series she spent five days living with four men and had to decide which of them was single, while those who were attached had girlfriends spying on their every move.
"It was one of the toughest things I've done," Jodie told the Daily Echo.
Taking part in reality television shows and posing for photographs has become part of her celebrity lifestyle after she was discovered by the Sun newspaper and became one of their most popular Page 3 girls. But with her autobiography, Keeping It Real, out later this year, Jodie admitted that it's hard to give a reason for why she is famous.
"I couldn't explain my job if I tried," she said.
Despite being flooded with offers for singing opportunities, Jodie said she would prefer to keep working in television rather than launch a music career.
"I can sing and dance, and I keep getting offers to record something, but I'm getting some good opportunities in television work.
"I don't think people really want to see a glamour model become a singer, and I can respect that," she said.
