GHASTLY makeovers, the deadly plague and medieval surgery will all be making an appearance at The Point Eastleigh on Sunday at the third local history fair!
Hamble Valley Tourism says the guest speaker will be BBC's Flog It and Bargain Hunt personality David Barby, who will also be helping a panel of valuers afterwards.
The theme for this year's show is medieval times, but all periods of history will be featured.
Visitors can expect to see combat displays and story-telling in authentic medieval camps and presentations on the Black Death and medieval medicine.
Children can try out theatrical make-up and the Winchester Waytes will be offering musical entertainment through out the day.
More than 20 stands will be displaying local history and memorabilia. Organisations represented include Hampshire Genealogical Society, the International Guild of Knot Tyers, Friends of Southampton Cemetery, Eastleigh Museum, Eastleigh Railway Preser-vation Society and history societies.
Admission is free. Take along your antiques for advice.
