Twenty-one divers from the Southampton Diving Academy travelled to Plymouth to compete in the Armada Cup and came back with a haul of 11 medals between them.
The team took two gold, six silver and three bronze medals in a competition which saw some excellent performances by clubs from all over England.
Standing out from the crowd was Emily Alderman, 13, pictured, who won a gold and two silvers in the Girls' 12-13 years events. Her gold in the highboard event was achieved with a considerable lead of just under 20 points (119.4 against 100.25 for the silver medallist).
Throughout the tournament Emily dived consistently well, demonstrating her strength on the national scene in her age group.
Emily joins teammates Chris Mears, 12, and Chris Farrow, 13, on the National Junior Talent Programme training camp, to be held at the Quays this weekend. Both boys took a medal apiece, with Farrow winning silver and Mears the bronze on the 3m board.
