A PETROL bomb attack on a parish councillor's home in Little London near Andover on Sunday night has been linked by police with a killing in West Brompton in south west London.
A man in his 60s was arrested in Hampshire following the fire but both Hampshire Constabulary and the Metropolitan Police have been tight-lipped about revealing details of either incident.
The house attacked is the home of Smannell Parish Council chairman Billy Whitmore, his wife Celia and their two daughters who are both in their 20s.
Mr Whitmore, who has lived in the house for 25 years, is mystified as to why his home was petrol bombed but says the experience was very frightening.
